Route 65 Family Worship

Travel concept background - road in blooming spring meadow on suWednesdays at 6:00 pm in the Family Life Center

If your family is like most families, you’re running in a million different directions. You’re rushing around trying to get one child to soccer practice, another to ballet, and another to gymnastics. You get home late in the evening, try to hurry through homework and dinner before you crash in exhaustion from the busyness of the day. If your family is like most families, there’s simply not a lot of time for you to spend time together as a family focused on growing in Christ together.

At Big Stevens Creek we want to help your family come together and focus on what is most important. Route 65 is an exciting worship experience for the entire family, particularly families with elementary-aged children. We are convinced at Big Stevens Creek that one of the greatest gifts God has given us is the gift of family. Therefore, we want to teach our families to worship the Lord together by providing an environment where families are able to dive into the truths of God’s Word together. This worship experience, based on Deuteronomy 6:5, is designed to lead families to love God with their whole being.

Each Wednesday, Route 65 begins with a time of musical worship that will point your family to the greatness of God. Your children will love the interactive music, and we are sure that parents and grandparents will be singing right along with their kids as we learn to enjoy God together. Our musical worship is followed by an engaging Bible lesson that will teach your family to treasure Christ. These Bible lessons are simple enough for your children to understand, but the concepts taught are applicable for adults as well. After the Bible lesson families interact with other families for a few minutes and reflect on the truths communicated in the Bible lesson. This brief time of interaction opens up the door for Gospel-centered conversations to take place within your family after you leave our time of corporate worship.

At 6:30, our parents and children divide up. The children stay in the Family Life center and enjoy additional learning activities and games centered around the Bible lesson while the parents participate in a 30 minute study that relates to different issues that families face. It’s a great time for parents to become better equipped so that they may be the parents God has called them to be.

Route 65 is a great place to be on Wednesday nights! Come join us!
